Early Life: He was born in Zimbabwe to a family deeply rooted in ministry. He is the son of Lazarus Maponga, a long-time Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) minister.Education:
Maponga holds a degree in Philosophy (BA in Theology) and Personal Ministries from Andrews University in Michigan, United States.Theological Shift: He served as a high-profile pastor and elder within the Seventh-day Adventist Church for over 33 years. However, he famously broke away from mainstream Christian ministry to focus entirely on African indigenous knowledge systems and spirituality
Business Interest

He is actively building an African-centered village and sanctuary on a plot in Beatrice, near Harare. This space is designed to celebrate pre-colonial African tradition, medicine, and food systems.
